Salasar Supplies 2,085 MT Girders for Barapullah Project

Salasar Techno Engineering Limited has designed, fabricated and supplied 2,085 metric tonnes of composite steel girders for eight spans of Delhi’s Barapullah Phase-III elevated corridor near Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station. The company’s work covers eight spans with lengths ranging from approximately 30 to 45 metres and a uniform width of 14.85 metres centre-to-centre, with individual spans weighing between approximately 142 MT and 394 MT depending on structural requirements.

Fabrication began on June 7, 2024, with dispatch of the completed girders taking place between August 17, 2024 and February 14, 2025, involving around 150 personnel. The Barapullah Phase-III corridor includes an extradosed crossing over the Yamuna, a structure combining features of a girder bridge and a cable-stayed bridge using shorter pylons and cables to support longer spans.

Managing Director Shashank Agarwal said the project reflects the depth of the company’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities, fabrication precision and delivery discipline across a dispatch schedule spanning several months.

Established in 2001, Salasar Techno Engineering provides engineering, fabrication and EPC services for infrastructure projects, with a client base of more than 600 customers across over 25 countries, spanning telecom, power transmission and distribution, railways, renewable energy and customised steel structures.
