Steel Exchange India Limited has achieved its highest-ever monthly production of re-bars at its rolling mill, recording 24,823.509 metric tonnes in August 2026 following the successful commissioning and operationalisation of the company’s new Reheating Furnace.
The integrated steel plant, located in Sreerampuram, L. Kota Mandal, Vizianagaram district, reported production comprising 17,358.221 MT from the Continuous Casting Machine and 7,465.288 MT from the Reheating Furnace, marking the company’s highest monthly output since inception.
The record-breaking production showcases the enhanced capabilities of Steel Exchange India Limited’s facilities following the strategic upgrade, with the integration of the Reheating Furnace playing a pivotal role in boosting production capacity and efficiency. The development forms part of the company’s ongoing efforts to optimise production processes and strengthen its position in the steel industry through continued focus on innovative solutions and technological advancements.
