Datta Power Infra has signed an MoU with the Rajasthan government to invest Rs 50 billion in renewable energy projects, advancing the state’s green energy goals. Finalized in Jaipur, the agreement aims to develop 1,000 MW of renewable energy capacity, including solar, wind, and hybrid projects across Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Nagaur, Pratapgarh, and Jodhpur, generating 500–750 job opportunities.
Rajeev Kumar Bansal, CFO of Datta Power Infra, highlighted the investment’s dual focus on driving sustainable growth and supporting India’s renewable energy ambitions. This initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to strengthening India’s clean energy infrastructure and positioning Rajasthan as a key renewable energy hub.
With Rajasthan’s vast renewable energy potential, this investment is expected to accelerate the state’s transition to cleaner energy sources, reducing carbon emissions and contributing to India’s climate goals. The project also aligns with Rajasthan’s efforts to attract green investments, fostering economic development and creating sustainable energy solutions for future generations.
