DMRC barricaded 20km of the construction site around the Phase 4 metro construction in Delhi

Aiming to ensure absolute safety at the construction sites, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has barricaded almost 20 km of metro construction sites along Phase 4 in the national capital, Delhi.

DMRC said: “The streets of the national capital Delhi are presently dotted with close to 20 kilometres of Metro construction site barricades to ensure the safety of vehicles as well as pedestrians along the under-construction Delhi Metro sites.”

Along with the barricades, LED rope lights and blinkers have been installed along nearly 17 km to make the construction sites easily visible to travellers and vehicles passing by.

More than 270 traffic marshals have been installed to guide the travellers and to ensure smooth traffic flow. Keeping in mind the extreme fog conditions in Delhi, no stone has been left unturned to reduce the risk of accidents, including concrete crash barriers, radium belts and glowing jackets for workers, and all the barricades individually fastened with nuts and bolts.
