EPACK Prefab Achieves 10 Million Sq. Ft. Milestone in Industrial Construction

EPACK Prefab has achieved a remarkable milestone by completing the construction of 10 million square feet of industrial and warehouse facilities. This accomplishment, stemming from their initial warehouse project secured in 2019, highlights the company’s significant journey.

Valued at Rs 700 crores, these orders underscore the potential of India’s industrial warehouse sector and EPACK Prefab’s proficiency in timely project deliveries.

Sanjay Singhania, the Managing Director of EPACK Prefab, attributed this growth to initiatives like ‘Make in India’ and Production Linked Incentive (PLI) programs that have boosted domestic manufacturing. With the retail and e-commerce sectors, especially in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, experiencing steady growth, there’s a heightened demand for storage solutions.

Southern India, particularly states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra, has seen the majority of warehousing construction, driven by cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, and Mumbai. EPACK Prefab has successfully delivered projects for prominent companies including Coca-Cola, JK Tyre, GAIL, Dalmia Cement, Century Panel, among others.

To meet the demands of the growing e-commerce and retail industry, companies are embracing pre-engineered structures due to their streamlined construction process, saving up to 50% of the time compared to traditional methods.

EPACK Prefab’s order book has grown impressively by 100% between FY 2021-22 and FY 2022-23. Looking ahead, the company anticipates closing its order book at a substantial Rs 1400 crore for FY 23-24, with 43% expected to come from the industrial and warehousing sector in the next 12 months.

To meet the surging demand, especially in Southern states, the company is strategically expanding its production facility in Andhra Pradesh, nearly doubling its annual production capacity to 1.87 lakh metric tonnes.
