Trishakti Industries Limited has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with XCMG for a purchase order valued at approximately ₹125 crore for a 900-tonne heavy-lift crane, strengthening its capabilities in specialised heavy-lifting applications, particularly in India’s expanding wind energy sector.
India’s wind energy industry is moving toward taller turbines with larger rotor diameters and higher hub heights, increasing demand for specialised heavy-lift equipment capable of handling next-generation turbine installation. The planned crane will give Trishakti entry into this specialised equipment category, expanding its addressable market beyond existing infrastructure, steel, industrial and construction applications.
Trishakti currently operates a fleet of more than 150 machines and has served over 100 clients across 25-plus industries, reporting 100 per cent fleet utilisation and cumulative capital expenditure of more than ₹270 crore through Q1 FY27. Its Annual Recurring Revenue has crossed ₹72 crore.
CEO Dhruv Jhanwar said India’s wind energy market is witnessing structural acceleration, with the government targeting 100 GW of installed wind capacity by 2030 and the sector recording a record 6.1 GW of additions in FY26. He added that as turbines become larger and taller, demand for specialised lifting solutions of 900 tonnes and above is expected to rise, creating an opportunity for Trishakti to expand its presence in the segment.
Trishakti provides heavy equipment rental services for infrastructure, steel, industrial, renewable energy and large construction projects across India.
