Construction of a key steel bridge near Undavalli is nearing completion, marking steady progress in enhancing connectivity across Amaravati. The structure is part of the strategic Seed Axis Road corridor, a 21.7 km arterial stretch designed to improve mobility within the capital region.
Alongside this crossing, work is advancing on two additional steel bridges over the Guntur Channel and Kondaveeti Vagu, reinforcing the role of steel-intensive construction in accelerating project timelines and ensuring structural efficiency.
Once completed, the corridor will provide seamless connectivity between Vijayawada, Guntur, and Mangalagiri. The integrated network is expected to reduce travel time, ease congestion, and support the movement of goods and people across key urban nodes.
The rapid execution of these bridges highlights the growing adoption of steel structures in urban infrastructure, enabling faster construction while supporting the region’s expanding connectivity needs.
