Singapore-based Mapletree Logistics Trust (MLT) has acquired a Grade A logistics warehouse in Bhiwandi for INR 3,888 million, marking another step in its India growth strategy.
The deal signals MLT’s entry into its third Indian market, after Pune and Delhi, as it continues to scale its presence across key logistics hubs. The newly completed freehold asset, delivered in August 2025, spans 79,378 square metres and comprises two single-storey warehouse blocks designed for modern supply chain operations.
Located within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Bhiwandi remains one of India’s most active warehousing clusters, driven by demand from e-commerce, retail, and third-party logistics players. The acquisition positions MLT to tap into this sustained demand while strengthening its portfolio quality.
The facility has been pre-certified with the Indian Green Building Council Gold rating and incorporates energy-efficient systems such as LED lighting, skylights, and insulated building envelopes.
With this addition, MLT continues to build a resilient and future-ready logistics portfolio in India.
