Everest Industries collaborated with Svarn Infratel, a leading manufacturer of cables for automotive, defense, telecom, and commercial sectors, to design and deliver a state-of-the-art facility at their Giloth, Rajasthan location. The facility spans 109,026 sq ft, with an additional 44,401.50 sq ft of mezzanine area. This cutting-edge infrastructure was developed to meet the growing demands of the cable manufacturing industry while ensuring high efficiency and smooth operations.

Challenges & Solutions
Svarn Infratel, founded in 2005, is a pioneer in the manufacturing of cables used across multiple sectors. The company’s expansion necessitated a facility that not only accommodated large-scale manufacturing operations but also optimised internal processes for material handling and storage.

Everest Industries rose to the challenge with a tailor-made solution designed to meet the company’s specific requirements.

Key Features
To streamline internal material handling, lift cuts were integrated into the design of the building. This innovation allows for seamless vertical movement of materials between different levels of the facility, improving operational efficiency and minimising time lost in material transportation.

The mezzanine floor, covering 44,401.50 square feet, was designed with a load-bearing capacity of 1 MT per sq m. This robust design supports the storage of heavy materials and ensures the facility can handle the increased storage needs as the business expands.

One of the unique requirements for the Svarn Infratel facility was the provision of a 6.5 m high opening for vehicles to enter and exit the plant. This height clearance allows for smooth and uninterrupted movement of large delivery trucks and goods vehicles, enhancing logistics efficiency within the plant.

The design of the building incorporated a ridge height of approximately 14.5 m, ensuring adequate ventilation, natural light, and space for high-volume manufacturing equipment. The higher ridge height also facilitates the efficient movement of goods and personnel within the plant.

Conclusion
The successful completion of the Svarn Infratel facility in Giloth, Rajasthan, is a testament to the expertise of Everest Industries in delivering customised industrial solutions. With innovative features such as lift cuts for material shifting, heavy-duty mezzanine storage, and optimised vehicle access, the facility is designed to support the growing demands of Svarn Infratel’s diverse cable manufacturing operations.

By partnering Everest Industries, Svarn Infratel has been able to enhance its operational efficiency and create a modern, scalable infrastructure that meets the rigorous demands of the automotive, defense, telecom, and commercial cable sectors
