The Rajasthan Electricity Regulation Commission (RERC) has approved the final levelized tariffs for solar projects by Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JVVNL) and six projects by Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JdVVNL) under Component-C (Feeder Level Solarisation) of the PM Kusum Program. This decision follows petitions from both distribution companies (DISCOMs) for 75 JVVNL solar projects with a total capacity of 208.91 MW and six JdVVNL projects with a capacity of 13.12 MW.

Tariffs for JVVNL’s projects were approved in the range of Rs 2.898 to Rs 3.309 per kWh, while two tenders received tariffs of Rs 2.900 to Rs 3.31 per kWh. For the six JdVVNL projects, tariffs were set between Rs 3.032 and Rs 3.421 per kWh.

JVVNL’s petition detailed 86 solar power projects totaling 231.52 MW, planned near 68 units of 33/11 kV substations serving 22,923 agricultural consumers. The projects were issued under two tenders (Tenders 11 and 12), consisting of 49 projects (129.45 MW) and 37 projects (102.07 MW), respectively. JVVNL received bids for 76 projects with a combined capacity of 212.70 MW. Bids for Tender 11 (115.80 MW) offered tariffs from Rs 2.898 to Rs 3.90 per kWh, while Tender 12 (96.90 MW) ranged from Rs 2.90 to Rs 3.95 per kWh.
