To enhance urban mobility in Mumbai, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has awarded a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to M/s J. Kumar Infraprojects Ltd. This contract, valued at Rs 990 million, covers civil work for five elevated metro stations on Mumbai Metro Line-2B. The scope includes designing, supplying, fabricating, and erecting pre-engineered structural steel works, along with internal and external architectural finishes, plumbing, and interior fit-outs for the stations at Diamond Garden, Shivaji Chowk, BSNL Metro, Mankhurd, and Mandale.
This initiative is part of MMRDA’s strategic plan to rapidly expand the Mumbai Metro Network, addressing the city’s dynamic travel needs while prioritizing passenger safety and infrastructure sustainability. The project is slated for completion within 56 weeks.
