Rising dramatically above the Dubai Marina skyline, Ciel Dubai Marina has officially opened as the world’s tallest hotel tower, redefining the scale and ambition of contemporary hospitality. Standing 377 metres tall across 82 floors, the landmark property joins IHG’s Vignette Collection, a brand known for celebrating individuality, place, and storytelling through design-led experiences.

Developed by The First Group and designed by NORR Group, Ciel Dubai Marina is conceived as both an architectural icon and an immersive destination. Its sculptural form tapers elegantly at the upper and lower levels, finished in a sleek silver façade that reflects the meeting of city and sea. A hybrid steel-and-concrete structural system supports the tower’s height and slender profile, with over 2,700 tonnes of steel and extensive concrete foundations anchoring the building securely to site.

Inside, the hotel houses more than 1,000 rooms and suites, each designed to frame panoramic views of the marina, the Arabian Gulf, and the city beyond. At its crown sits one of the world’s highest infinity pools, offering a defining experience that blends elevation, leisure, and spectacle. Dining is positioned as a central attraction, with destination venues spanning multiple levels, from the dramatic, multi-storey Tattu experience to Mediterranean and Asian concepts that bring global flavours to the skyline.

Wellness and lifestyle amenities extend the sense of retreat, with a spa, state-of-the-art gym, family-friendly facilities, and direct access to beach clubs and the Marina promenade. Thoughtful rituals and curated guest experiences reflect the Vignette Collection philosophy, connecting visitors to local culture while maintaining a distinctly personal atmosphere.

Sustainability has also informed the project, with energy-efficient systems, water management strategies, and green design elements integrated throughout the tower. More than a record-breaking structure, Ciel Dubai Marina represents Dubai’s continued evolution as a global hospitality capital, where engineering precision, expressive architecture, and experiential luxury come together to create a destination that is as memorable as it is monumental.
