Anil Balaji Steel Eyes Rs 500 Crore Turnover by 2030

Anil Balaji Steel founder and chairman Anil Kumar Agarwal has announced plans to establish a presence in Odisha and Uttar Pradesh by 2030, expanding manufacturing capacity as part of the company’s broader growth strategy. The company is on the verge of acquiring factories in both states and plans to invest Rs 200 crore to strengthen its domestic market presence, targeting turnover of more than Rs 500 crore by 2030.

Agarwal said the expansion will also boost employment, with overall manpower expected to grow from 175 to more than 500, while the company’s fabricator network is projected to expand to 50,000 by 2030. The announcement was made alongside the unveiling of actor Abir Chatterjee as brand ambassador, along with the launch of the company’s website and its new business vertical, Fabrica.

Established in 1975, Anil Balaji Steel’s portfolio includes rolling shutter solutions, shutter profiles, MS and GP pipes, GP sheets, GP coils, roofing solutions and fabrication products. CEO Viren Agarwal said the company is preparing for its next growth phase after five decades of operations, with plans to raise funds through an SME IPO within three years.

Fabrica, the company’s new initiative, will focus on functional steel solutions for modern spaces, offering turnkey automated gates, pre-engineered buildings, grills, railings, pergolas, cabanas and architectural façade designs.
