Sri City Wins Praise from JETRO Delegation

Sri City continues to strengthen its global appeal, with a visiting delegation from Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) commending its infrastructure and growing ecosystem for international businesses.

The delegation, led by Director General Kiyotaka Doho, along with Deputy Director Ken Tamura and Advisor Yoshihiko Fujii, toured the integrated business city and expressed appreciation for its well-planned, world-class infrastructure.

During the visit, officials noted that Sri City hosts India’s second-largest Japanese township, with several companies steadily expanding their presence. They also highlighted the evolving social infrastructure tailored for expatriates, including serviced apartments, diverse dining options, reputed educational institutions, recreational facilities, and golf driving ranges.

Managing Director Ravindra Sannareddy emphasised that the growing footprint of Japanese enterprises reinforces Sri City’s position as a preferred global manufacturing hub. He added that such collaborations are helping deepen Indo-Japanese ties while supporting long-term, sustainable growth.

Earlier, the delegation was received by Senior Vice President (Marketing) Shivasankar, who pointed out that global investors, particularly from Japan, are increasingly choosing Sri City for its strategic advantages. He also noted that JETRO’s strong network and expertise would play a key role in promoting these strengths to potential Japanese investors.
