TN Unveils Circular Economy and Warehousing Policies with Incentives

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, earlier this week, released the Tamil Nadu Circular Economy Investment Policy, 2026, and the Tamil Nadu Warehousing Policy, 2026, aimed at strengthening sustainable industry and logistics infrastructure in the State.

The Circular Economy Policy offers a special package of incentives for recycling units and technology enablers, in addition to benefits under existing MSME policies. Eligible companies investing a minimum of ₹20 crore and creating at least 25 new jobs can avail a capital subsidy of 10% of eligible fixed assets, capped at ₹3 crore, disbursed over five years. The policy also includes EPF reimbursement-based employment incentives, skilling support, and payroll subsidies.

The Warehousing Policy extends incentives to market participants, operators, and developers for five years. Incentives apply to greenfield and brownfield projects located in Tamil Nadu, with additional green subsidies of up to ₹2 crore and special benefits for Category C and Delta districts.
