The Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Authority (UPSDA) has announced plans for a new 132-acre logistics park in Firozabad’s Nasirpur area. The park aims to improve warehousing, distribution, and transportation facilities while significantly boosting local industries, especially the glass industry.

The logistics park will feature a high-tech storage and distribution centre, streamlining the industrial supply chain and reducing logistics costs. With 40% of the required land near the expressway already acquired, construction is set to begin after the remaining land acquisition. The project will benefit from direct connectivity to Jewar Airport and the Dedicated Freight Corridor, offering seamless integration with Delhi-NCR.

The park is expected to revolutionize the glass industry in Firozabad, known for its glass bangles, by expediting the supply chain, lowering production costs, and increasing global competitiveness. Plans also include better freight transportation and improved material and product management systems.

District Magistrate Vishu Raja stated that the land acquisition process is underway, with further development to follow the action plan by UPEIDA. The logistics park is poised to become a critical hub for industrial growth in the region.
