Officials from Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) India Ltd., Vizag Asset, recently held a meeting with District Collector A. Mallikarjuna. During the meeting, they submitted a letter of consent to provide solar power equipment to the Government Victoria Hospital (GVH), commonly called Ghosha Hospital, located in the city.
M. Ravindranath, the Executive Director of AMNS Vizag Asset, and D.S. Varma, the Head of HR and Admin, handed over the letter to extend solar power equipment valued at ₹30 lakh. This contribution is part of AMNS Vizag Asset’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
Earlier, on June 27, 2023, AMNS India Ltd. had entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with King George Hospital (KGH) for the installation of solar panels worth ₹50 lahks. The panels are intended to be placed on the roof of the CSR Block of KGH. This MoU was signed in the presence of Health Minister Vidadala Rajini and the District Collector. The anticipated completion date for installing solar panels at KGH is September of this year, as stated in official communication from AMNS India.
