The East Coast Railway has recently announced a tender for multiple projects in Andhra Pradesh related to the Kottavalasa Koraput doubling project of Waltair Division. These projects encompass a range of activities, including the construction of major and minor bridges, as well as track works, from Shivalingapuram Station to Borraguhalu Station.
The scope of work involves various tasks such as earthwork in formation, blanketing, the construction of minor bridges, and the execution of major bridges, including open and underground excavation, rock bolts, steel supports, concrete works, drainage works, ballastless track works, and the supply, erection, and testing of electrical and mechanical (E&M) equipment. This work will be carried out between kilometer 45.483 and kilometer 72.550 along the railway route.
The total contract value for these projects is Rs 1,297.34 crore, and the stipulated timeframe for completion is 30 months.
Interested bidders are required to submit their proposals by 10th November 2023.
