Acme Solar announced the commissioning of 1,023 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan, consisting of four projects. The projects were successfully commissioned on Wednesday. Acme Solar Holdings confirmed the completion of four Inter State Transmission System-connected projects in Jaisalmer. These include ACME Dhaulpur Powertech (238 MW), ACME Deoghar Solar Power (253 MW), ACME Phalodi Solar Energy (260.05 MW), and ACME Raisar Solar Energy (272 MW) out of a total of 300 MW. Acme Solar Holdings is one of India’s largest renewable energy producers and is ranked among the top 10 in the sector.
The projects are part of Acme Solar’s ongoing efforts to expand its renewable energy footprint across India. By successfully completing these large-scale solar installations, Acme Solar further contributes to India’s renewable energy goals and commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2070. These projects in Rajasthan will not only bolster the state’s energy capacity but also reduce dependence on conventional energy sources, ensuring a more sustainable energy future.
Rajasthan, with its vast expanses of sunny land, has become an ideal location for solar energy projects, and Acme Solar’s recent commissioning is a testament to the growing potential of solar power in the region. The successful operation of these projects will also have a positive impact on local economies by creating job opportunities and supporting ancillary industries. Acme Solar continues to push the boundaries of renewable energy technology and innovation, with a focus on increasing the efficiency and scalability of solar power generation across the country.
