Engineers India has initiated a preliminary partnership with Australia’s Sunrise CSP Group to collaboratively develop energy projects both in India and abroad. This agreement establishes an exclusive alliance in concentrated solar thermal power, encompassing projects spanning oil and gas and various other energy sectors. The Australian Trade and Investment Commission highlighted the objective of harnessing solar energy for industrial processes across different scales and temperature ranges.
This joint endeavour aims to provide heating and cooling solutions to prominent institutions, including a cancer hospital in Gujarat, and produce essential chemicals like hydrogen and ammonia. Additionally, it envisions national-level power solutions designed to deliver electricity on demand. Sunrise CSP’s CEO, Artur Zawadski, emphasised their collective goal of utilising solar energy for industrial production across various scales and temperatures.
Engineers India specialises in offering consultancy, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services in the oil and gas industry and other segments of the energy sector. Vartika Shukla, Chairperson of Engineers India, underscored the versatility and adaptability of Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) technology, emphasising its potential for integration with existing industrial facilities and process plants.
