PM Modi Initiates Rs 7,300 Crore Development Projects in MP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for various development projects totaling approximately Rs 7,300 crore in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh. These initiatives aim to benefit the significant tribal population by enhancing water supply, providing drinking water, and boosting infrastructure in areas like roads, railways, power, and education.

Among the projects, the Prime Minister inaugurated the CM Rise School in Jhabua, which incorporates technology for modern facilities like smart classes and e-Libraries. Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for Tantya Mama Bhil University, catering to the youth from tribal-dominated districts.

The redevelopment of Ratlam and Meghnagar railway stations under the Amrit Bharat station scheme was also initiated. Rail projects dedicated to the nation include the doubling of Indore-Dewas-Ujjain C cabin railway line, Itarsi-North-South grade separator with yard remodelling, and the third line connecting Barkhera-Budni-Itarsi.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister inaugurated road development projects worth over Rs 3,275 crore, enhancing connectivity and fostering economic development in the region. Other initiatives, such as waste dumpsite remediation and electric substations, were also unveiled. Additionally, Rs 55.9 crore was transferred for the development of 559 villages under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana.
