In a significant partnership, Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) and Engineers India Limited (EIL) have entered into a formal contract for the provision of fundamental engineering and detailed engineering services. The contract focuses on a Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plant situated in Angul, Odisha, covering not just the DRI plant itself but also its related facilities.

The collaboration between JSPL and EIL marks a significant advancement in the iron production sector. Drawing on their expertise and resources, these reputable companies aim to enhance the engineering aspects of the DRI plant, ensuring its smooth operation.

While specific contract details remain confidential, the collaboration is anticipated to extend over approximately 20 months. This duration will facilitate comprehensive basic engineering and detailed engineering services, encompassing project design, planning, and execution.

Valued at ₹1550 lakhs, the contract highlights JSPL and EIL’s dedication to fostering innovation and growth in the iron and steel industry.
