The Detailed Project Report for the Thiruvananthapuram Metro has recommended major multimodal transport hubs at Pappanamcode and Anayara, aiming to integrate Metro services with road, rail, air and potentially water transport for more convenient travel.
Phase 1 of the Thiruvananthapuram Metro will cover 31 km from Pappanamcode to Enchakkal, with 27 stations, and is estimated to require an investment of Rs 8,000 crore. Kochi Metro Rail Limited has submitted the DPR to the Kerala government.
