The projects are scheduled to be executed over 30 to 33 months and are expected to enhance SEPC’s revenue visibility and project execution pipeline over the long term.
SEPC said it secured a ₹673.32 crore order from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) – IISCO Steel Plant (ISP), Burnpur, for its 4.08 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) crude steel expansion project.
The contract marks a significant addition to SEPC’s industrial EPC portfolio and strengthens its presence in large-scale steel and heavy industrial infrastructure projects.
The scope of work includes two key packages under the expansion project. The Coke Oven Balance of Plant (BOP) Package – COB-3, excluding civil and structural works, is valued at ₹296.77 crore, while the Sinter Plant BOP Package – SP-2, including civil and structural works, is valued at ₹376.56 crore. The aggregate contract value stands at ₹673.32 crore, excluding taxes. The projects are scheduled to be executed over 30 to 33 months and are expected to enhance SEPC’s revenue visibility and project execution pipeline over the long term.
