Servotech Power Systems has been awarded a significant contract valued at approximately ₹10.20 crore for a total of 1.2 MW of solar energy storage and grid-connected systems. This order comes from the Uttar Pradesh Rural Development Department and the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA).
Under this contract, Servotech will deploy multiple 75kW solar-based energy storage systems designed to provide a reliable and uninterrupted power supply across Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, the company will design, manufacture, supply, erect, test, and commission 20 kW and 40 kW grid-connected solar power systems. These systems will contribute to the state’s renewable energy goals and help address the geographical and infrastructural challenges present in Uttar Pradesh.
Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Power Systems, expressed enthusiasm about the new project, highlighting the company’s pride in partnering with the Rural Development Department and UPNEDA to boost energy access and sustainability in Uttar Pradesh. She emphasized Servotech’s established reputation for delivering high-quality solar solutions and viewed the contract as a significant enhancement to their green portfolio, confident in their ability to provide exceptional value.
Servotech has a history of making significant contributions to India’s renewable energy sector, previously collaborating with UPNEDA on off-grid solar plants across Uttar Pradesh. This latest order aligns with the government’s vision for a sustainable future and aims to enhance energy efficiency, provide stable energy costs, and reduce carbon footprints. The project is expected to benefit the masses financially and support the broader adoption of renewable energy solutions in the state.
