The Hyderabad Metro’s Phase-2 expansion project, connecting MGBS to Chandrayangutta, has advanced with the acquisition process for 800 properties. This extension is a crucial step toward enhancing the city’s metro network, ensuring improved urban mobility and connectivity.
The Hyderabad District Collector confirmed that compensation agreements with property owners have been finalized, offering Rs 81,000 per square yard along with construction value. The government has emphasized a transparent and efficient acquisition process, inviting affected property owners to provide consent at Metro Bhavan in Rasoolpura, Begumpet. Once approved, compensation will be disbursed within 10 days.
This milestone reflects the government’s commitment to facilitating metro infrastructure growth while ensuring fair compensation for stakeholders, advancing Hyderabad’s urban transit system.
