CIL Navikarniya Urja, a subsidiary of Coal India, has released a tender for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 40 MW solar power project at Johilla Area, located in Madhya Pradesh. This project is part of India’s push toward renewable energy and aims to bolster solar power generation in the region.

The last date for submitting bids is November 26, 2024, with the bid opening scheduled for November 27. The successful contractor will be responsible for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of the ground-mounted solar power project. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months, with the contractor also tasked with maintaining the system for a period of ten years.

To qualify for the tender, bidders must demonstrate prior experience in executing similar projects. Additionally, they must meet a financial turnover requirement of Rs 693 million over the past three years. This ensures that only qualified firms with the necessary experience and financial stability are selected to undertake this important renewable energy project.
