The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority has initiated the tender process for a 174-acre multi-modal logistics park in Dadri, marking a significant step toward strengthening freight and warehousing infrastructure in the region.
Planned in Sector Kappa-II near the Inland Container Depot, the project will be developed on a 90-year leasehold basis through an e-auction route. Authorities have set a minimum investment threshold of around ₹1,000 crore, with a reserve land price of approximately ₹11,000 per square metre. The selected developer will be required to demonstrate prior experience in logistics operations, ensuring capability to execute and manage the large-scale project.
Strategically located, the proposed logistics park will benefit from proximity to the upcoming Noida International Airport and key freight infrastructure such as the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor and Western Dedicated Freight Corridor. This positioning is expected to enable seamless integration of air, rail, and road transport, improving cargo movement efficiency across North India.
The development will include core logistics and warehousing facilities spanning a built-up area of about 7 lakh square metres. It is also expected to generate around 5,000 jobs, reflecting the scale of operations and infrastructure involved.
The project aligns with Uttar Pradesh government’s broader push to build integrated logistics hubs and strengthen supply chain networks, particularly in view of upcoming infrastructure such as the Jewar airport and industrial corridors. It will complement other major initiatives in the region, including developments linked to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, aimed at enhancing connectivity and supporting industrial growth.
