NHSRCL AWARDED A CONTRACT TO LARSEN & TOUBRO

The National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) has awarded a contract to the construction wing of Larsen & Toubro to design and construct the Bombay Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project. The project scope includes design and construction of civil and building works for a double-line high-speed rail of a length of 8.198km. The project conjointly includes the main station of Vadodara, confirmation automobile base, span and bridges, crossing bridges, subject area, MEP and alternative associated works. The railway lien passes through Vadodara, Gujarat, and is regular to be completed inside forty-nine months. L&T is already executing 2 alternative packages of the high-speed passageway High-speed trains on Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSRC) can operate at a speed of 320 Km/hr covering 508 kilometer and twelve stations. With a restricted stop (in Surat and Vadodara) service, this distance will be covered in one hour and fifty-eight minutes and everyone stops service will take two hours, 57 minutes. whereas MAHSRC is predicted to be operational by Dec 2023, specialists are predicting a delay because of lack of progress in land acquisition in geographical regions. Construction work, however, has gathered steam in Gujarat.
