Kirby India Expands PEB Capacity with New Gujarat Facility

Kirby India, a leading player in the pre-engineered building (PEB) industry, is accelerating its growth strategy with a significant capacity expansion. The company has established its third manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat, which commenced operations in early 2023. This development marks a major milestone in Kirby India’s efforts to strengthen its position in the fast-growing PEB sector.

The new facility is set to add 50,000 metric tonnes (MT) of annual production capacity, boosting the company’s overall PEB manufacturing capability to an estimated 300,000 MT per annum by the fourth quarter of 2024. This expansion aims to meet the rising demand for PEB solutions across a variety of sectors, including industrial, commercial, logistics, and infrastructure projects.

Kirby India’s decision to expand its footprint in Gujarat is driven by the state’s strategic location, robust industrial ecosystem, and excellent connectivity, enabling the company to serve clients across western and northern India more efficiently. The increased capacity will allow Kirby India to take on larger and more complex projects while ensuring timely delivery and maintaining its reputation for quality engineering and manufacturing excellence.

The PEB market in India is witnessing rapid growth, propelled by the advantages of faster construction timelines, cost-effectiveness, and design flexibility. Kirby India’s latest move positions it well to capitalise on these trends, supported by its strong manufacturing base and a track record of delivering high-quality, customised building solutions.

With this capacity boost, the company is poised to play an even greater role in shaping India’s modern infrastructure landscape, contributing to industrial expansion and the nation’s overall economic growth.
