NHPC Limited, through its joint venture Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited (BSUL), has invited bids for the development of a solar power park in Madhogarh, Uttar Pradesh. This marks the first phase of a 600 MW solar park, part of the larger 1200 MW solar power project under UMPPRE. The project scope includes boundary surveys, marking, chain-link fencing, and compound wall construction.
The tender follows a single-stage, two-part bidding system, requiring separate submissions for technical and financial bids. The project is estimated at Rs 28.60 crore, with an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs 43 lakh. The bid document is priced at Rs 5,000, with a validity period of 120 days. Successful bidders must submit a performance bank guarantee (PBG) as per the tender requirements. The project completion timeline is set at 350 days from the Letter of Acceptance issuance.
Eligible bidders must have completed similar projects in the last seven years, with a minimum value of one project at Rs 22.88 crore, or two projects valued at Rs 14.30 crore each, or three projects worth Rs 11.44 crore each.
