KEC International Ltd., a leading global infrastructure EPC major and part of the RPG Group, has announced the receipt of a new international order worth ₹1,038 crore. The contract involves the design, supply, and installation of a 380 kV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) in Saudi Arabia — marking KEC’s largest-ever substation order to date.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International Ltd., said, “We are delighted with the successive order wins in our T&D business. In a landmark achievement, we have secured our largest-ever substation order. This prestigious order in the Middle East has widened our portfolio and strengthened our presence in the region. With this strategic win, our year-to-date order intake has surpassed ₹16,000 crore, representing a healthy growth of around 20 per cent.”
The order underscores KEC’s growing presence in the power transmission and distribution (T&D) segment, particularly in the Middle East, where the company continues to expand its capabilities in high-voltage substation and transmission infrastructure.
