The Adani Group has unveiled plans to develop Mumbai’s largest International Convention Centre (ICC) with an estimated investment of $2 billion. Approved by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), the ICC will span 1.5 million square feet and is strategically located in Vile Parle, near the Mumbai International Airport, ensuring seamless connectivity for attendees.

The state-of-the-art facility will feature 1.2 million square feet of indoor event space, accommodating up to 20,000 attendees. Complementing the venue will be an integrated five-star hotel offering 275 rooms to cater to visiting delegates and participants.

Once completed, the ICC will become Mumbai’s largest convention venue, surpassing the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, which covers 1 million square feet. It will also rival Yashobhoomi in New Delhi, India’s largest convention centre at 3.2 million square feet. This ambitious project is expected to further establish Mumbai as a premier hub for global exhibitions, conferences, and events, solidifying its position on the international stage.
