NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has issued a tender for the installation of grid-connected rooftop solar systems with a total capacity of 7.2 MW across 26 buildings of Assam Rifles in Nagaland, Manipur, and Assam. Bidders must submit their proposals by December 2, 2024, with the bid opening scheduled for December 3, 2024. The project is expected to be completed within seven months.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, supply, civil construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar systems, along with connecting them to the existing mains, ACDB, feeder pillars, and interfacing with the electrical loads. Successful bidders must obtain approval from the distribution licensee or CEIG for grid connectivity.
Additional requirements include providing a suitable solar module cleaning system, a remote monitoring system, and offering operation and maintenance services for ten years. Bidders must also ensure permanent rooftop access with a minimum 1-meter wide MS staircase or ladder. A bid security of Rs 5 million is required, and a contract performance guarantee of up to 10% of the contract price must be submitted within 28 days of the award. Solar panel manufacturers must offer a 10-year extended warranty, and the modules must have a minimum capacity of 540 Wp, with a degradation factor not exceeding 0.7% per year and an efficiency of at least 21%.
