Copeland has launched a cutting-edge 15,000m² engineering and technology centre in Pune, India, as part of its $58 million investment plan in the country. This new facility will enhance Copeland’s global innovation ecosystem, joining a network of state-of-the-art engineering labs across nine countries.
The Pune centre will accommodate over 320 engineers specialising in various fields, including research and development, software, and firmware development. It will accelerate in-country innovation, driving product development in line with the growing demand for energy-efficient solutions.
By supporting the development of sustainable cooling, heating, cold chain, and industrial technologies, the new facility strengthens Copeland’s ability to meet India’s needs and contribute to global sustainability efforts. The centre will also integrate with the company’s global R&D initiatives to address increasing energy efficiency requirements worldwide.
