Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) has announced a tender for the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 238.4 MW of grid-connected solar power projects under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyaan (PM-KUSUM). The projects will be implemented under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model. The deadline for submitting bids is January 15, 2025.
Bidders must submit a deposit of Rs 100,000 per MW and a performance bank guarantee of Rs 500,000 per MW. The tender documents are available for Rs 11,800, and the estimated project cost is Rs 35 million per MW.
Selected bidders will be responsible for operations and maintenance, as well as establishing 33 kV or 11 kV lines to connect the solar projects to substations and setting up remote monitoring systems. The projects must be commissioned within nine months from the issuance of the Letter of Award (LOA). A 25-year power purchase agreement will be signed within two months of the LOA.
Eligibility requirements specify that only single bidders or joint ventures with up to two members may apply. Single bidders must certify ownership of assets equal to at least 20% of the total quoted capacity, while joint ventures must demonstrate a minimum annual turnover of 30% of the total quoted capacity cost.
