Green energy startup Glow has secured 30 million dollar in funding from venture capital firms Framework and Union Square Ventures to accelerate its solar power initiatives in Rajasthan. Established in 2023, Glow has already launched three solar farms in the state, generating a combined capacity of 21.3 MW at Rays Power Experts’ site near Bikaner.
CEO and Co-founder David Vorick emphasized that this investment will help Glow scale operations, expand its solar farm network, and advance its mission of delivering clean, affordable energy globally, beginning with India.
The funding will also support Glow’s ongoing research and development efforts to improve solar technology efficiency and affordability. The company aims to collaborate with local communities to enhance energy access, create job opportunities, and drive sustainable economic growth in the region.
