Willus Infrastructure’s latest project entailed delivering a comprehensive pre-engineered steel building solution for Laxmi Motors and South Korean Automotive giant ‘Hyundai’ in Nepal. The company’s scope of work included design, manufacturing, supply, project management, and erection of the pre-engineered steel building using the highest quality materials and proven technology. Key aspects of the project were on-time completion, aesthetic appeal, functional superiority, and cost-effectiveness.
Willus Infrastructure provides high-performance steel building systems, complete with roofing and cladding systems. The building’s architectural design was customised to meet the client’s unique requirements.
Covering approximately 150,000 sq ft with a 9 m clear height, the building was designed according to IS 800-2007 standards. This tailor-made pre-engineered building was created based on the client’s specifications and precise design calculations, considering all parameters and detailing aspects. The design features seamless joints, bubble insulation on the roof, and Willus hi-end roof and cladding profiles to enhance both the building’s aesthetics and performance.
One of the key aspects of the project was the fascia which was created to conceal part or all of the gable roof, proper colour coordination of the fascia sheeting, soffit, trims, gutters, and downspouts, generally enhances the aesthetics of the building and gives it a distinct appearance to a normal Industrial Building.
The team was deeply involved in this project, thoroughly studying and addressing every aspect of the design. Teamwork was the key to success. Under the guidance of Mr. Manoj Kumar, the design team has executed remarkable projects. Their dedication and in-depth technical expertise allowed them to overcome potential design challenges early on. The installation process went smoothly, resulting in an accurately designed and iconic pre-engineered building in Nepal.
This exclusive PEB project features various unique elements and serves as a perfect example of an industrial building that meets major architectural requirements. This ambitious project was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Nepal and is Nepal’s first motor assembly unit.
