Rajasthan Proposes Seven Industrial Hubs Under Bhavya Scheme

The Rajasthan government has proposed seven locations under the Centre’s Bhavya scheme, aimed at developing next-generation industrial hubs across the country. The initiative focuses on creating plug-and-play ecosystems with robust trunk infrastructure, multimodal connectivity, and streamlined governance through Special Purpose Vehicles.

The scheme is being steered by the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), which plans to establish 100 high-potential industrial and urban growth nodes nationwide.

A senior official from the state’s industries department said that key projects such as the Khushkhera-Bhiwadi-Neemrana Investment Region and the Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar Industrial Area are already in various stages of development. “Work has already commenced at JPMIA through a joint venture with NICDC Trust, reflecting the state’s readiness for execution,” the official noted.

Most of the proposed sites fall within the influence zone of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, offering a strategic advantage in logistics and connectivity. The availability of land and strong investor interest are expected to accelerate project implementation and position Rajasthan as a major industrial growth hub.
