Haryana has approved an outlay of ₹1,028 crore for a wide range of infrastructure and civic development projects, reinforcing its focus on urban expansion and public service upgrades. The decision was taken during a High-Powered Purchase Committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
The sanctioned projects span urban infrastructure, water supply, health, industrial pollution control, and civic amenities across more than 10 departments. Notably, a high-capacity pumping station in Gurugram and a master water supply scheme in Faridabad aim to strengthen bulk water distribution and meet rising urban demand. Stormwater management works in the Gurugram region have also been approved to enhance drainage resilience.
Urban facilities such as a training centre in Karnal, Atal Park in Panchkula, and a shooting range complex are part of the plan. Industrial infrastructure will see upgrades through an effluent treatment plant in Panipat.
The government also reported savings of ₹96 crore through negotiations, while directing strict monitoring, quality control, and timely execution of all projects.
