The Government of India is scaling up infrastructure oversight through PAIMANA, a digital platform now tracking 1,702 projects across 17 central ministries and departments as of January 2026. The initiative aims to create a unified monitoring system to improve execution, transparency and coordination across sectors.
PAIMANA enables real-time tracking of project progress, helping authorities identify bottlenecks and address implementation challenges more efficiently. By integrating data-driven insights with digital tools, the platform supports better decision-making and performance evaluation at the ministry level.
The rollout marks a step towards stronger inter-ministerial coordination, particularly for large-scale projects spanning transportation, energy and urban development. A centralised system is expected to streamline reporting, reduce delays and optimise resource utilisation.
Aligned with the government’s broader push for digital governance, PAIMANA is designed to accelerate project timelines and enhance accountability in public infrastructure delivery. The platform reflects a growing emphasis on technology-led project management to support faster execution and more consistent outcomes across India’s expanding infrastructure pipeline.
