Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited has declared Ayesa Ingenieria y Arquitectura, S.A.U as the lowest bidder for the Detailed Design Consultant contract for Lucknow Metro Phase 1B.
The consultancy assignment has a contract duration of 1,825 days. Two firms participated in the bidding process, with both qualifying for the financial stage following technical evaluation. After the opening and assessment of financial bids, Ayesa was ranked L1 with a quoted value of Rs 159 million, significantly lower than Systra MVA Consulting (India) Private Limited, which quoted Rs 280 million.
The scope of work covers detailed design services for civil, architectural, electrical, mechanical, and traction systems. It includes a 4.29 km elevated section with five stations and a 6.88 km underground section with seven stations, along with a car maintenance depot and stabling lines at Vasantkunj.
Lucknow Metro Phase 1B comprises a single 11.165 km corridor from Charbagh Railway Station to Vasantkunj and is estimated to cost Rs 58,010 million.
