Fabex Steel Structures Expands Capacity with New Manufacturing Unit near Hyderabad

Fabex Steel Structures has inaugurated its second manufacturing facility at Chityal, near Hyderabad, marking a significant step in its expansion strategy within the pre-engineered buildings (PEB) sector. The new 40-acre plant represents an investment of approximately ₹120 crore and is designed to meet the growing demand for industrial infrastructure solutions across India.

The facility will focus on producing pre-engineered steel buildings used in factories, warehouses, and logistics centres — sectors that are witnessing robust growth driven by industrial expansion, e-commerce, and infrastructure development. With an additional production capacity of around 50,000 tonnes per annum, the new unit effectively doubles Fabex’s total output to approximately 100,000 tonnes per year, strengthening its position as a leading player in the PEB market.

This expansion underscores the company’s confidence in India’s industrial and logistics growth trajectory. As businesses increasingly turn to steel-based structures for faster construction, greater durability, and cost efficiency, Fabex aims to leverage advanced fabrication technologies and streamlined processes to deliver high-quality, custom-engineered solutions. The company’s decision to invest heavily in automation and modern equipment at the new facility also highlights its commitment to operational efficiency and precision manufacturing.

The establishment of the Chityal plant aligns with the broader national trend of rising demand for structural steel in industrial and warehousing infrastructure. With the government’s continued focus on manufacturing, logistics parks, and the “Make in India” initiative, the demand for pre-engineered steel structures is expected to accelerate further.

By expanding its capacity and technological capabilities, Fabex Steel Structures is positioning itself to capitalise on this momentum and play a vital role in supporting India’s evolving industrial infrastructure landscape.
