Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) has expanded its operational renewable energy capacity to 11,666.1 MW with the commissioning of a 57.2 MW wind power component at Khavda, Gujarat. This project, developed by AGEL’s subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Ltd, is part of a larger wind-solar hybrid initiative designed to optimize land and infrastructure usage by integrating two renewable energy sources at a single location.

The Khavda plant, finalized on January 14, 2025, and operational from January 15, 2025, represents AGEL’s strategic commitment to maximizing energy output and improving reliability through hybrid technology. By combining wind and solar power generation, the project sets a benchmark for efficient and sustainable energy solutions.
