The Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana (TGNPDCL) has issued two tenders for 3 MW ground-mounted solar power projects in Karimnagar and Sircilla districts. The deadline for bid submissions is set for 12 December 2024, with bids to be opened on 13 December 2024. The projects must be completed within six months from the commencement date.

Bidders are required to provide a bid security amounting to 2% of the bid value, along with a transaction fee of 0.03% of the estimated contract value (ECV) up to Rs 500 million, plus GST. Additionally, the successful bidder will need to contribute 0.04% of the ECV, capped at Rs 10,000, for a corpus fund. The scope of work includes the supply, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the projects on a 100% turnkey basis, with a five-year operation and maintenance contract. Bidders are expected to supply half-cut mono PERC cells with a module efficiency of at least 20.9% and offer a minimum 12-year warranty.

The 1 MW project in Karimnagar will be located at Waterworks in the district. Bidders must be empanelled vendors of the Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation (REDCO) or TGNPDCL. Additionally, they should have installed at least 0.50 MW of solar projects on government buildings or under subsidy schemes over the last three financial years. Bidders must also have achieved a minimum annual turnover of Rs 30 million in at least one of the last three years.

The 2 MW project, based in CESS Boinpally, Sircilla, requires bidders to be empanelled vendors of REDCO or TGNPDCL. They must have installed a cumulative capacity of at least 1 MW in solar projects on government buildings or under subsidy programs during the last three financial years. A minimum annual turnover of Rs 60 million in at least one of the last three financial years is also required.
