Mumbai’s ambitious coastal road and sea-link project is nearing completion, marking a transformative milestone in the city’s infrastructure development. Aimed at enhancing coastal connectivity and reducing travel times, the project features an extensive road network and a sea-link connecting key areas, promising significant relief from traffic congestion.

In addition to its primary focus on transportation, the project includes a 7.5-kilometer sea-facing promenade set to open early next year. This expansive pathway will feature amenities such as a bicycle track, open-air theatre, and underground parking, providing scenic and recreational spaces for residents and visitors. Alongside the promenade, four underground parking facilities and advanced traffic management systems are being introduced to enhance convenience and safety.

Once complete, the project is expected to streamline transit, reduce bottlenecks, and improve urban mobility across Mumbai. By combining functional infrastructure with recreational areas, it also aims to boost the city’s quality of life and economic growth, setting a benchmark for urban planning and sustainable development.
