Bengaluru Airport City Limited (BACL), a subsidiary of Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), has announced the launch of a 2 million square foot business park. This initiative aims to position Bengaluru as a global hub for Global Capability Centers (GCCs). According to a press release, the new business park will span 17.7 acres and feature four blocks, each offering 0.5 million square feet of space.

Nestled within an urban forest, the park is designed to foster a vibrant business community with advanced infrastructure, premium amenities, and ample networking opportunities. Rao Munukutla, Executive Director & CEO of BACL, highlighted Bengaluru’s rise as a leader in the GCC sector. He noted that Bengaluru has become the GCC Capital of the world, with 36% of India’s GCC workforce driving innovation across IT, biotechnology, automotive, and aerospace sectors.

Munukutla stated that this business park marks the beginning of a thriving ecosystem that aligns with their vision for Bengaluru Airport City. The initiative underscores Bengaluru’s reputation as India’s premier hub for GCCs, further enhancing its global appeal across multiple industries.

The business park’s design emphasizes sustainability and innovation, featuring green building practices and energy-efficient technologies. It will offer high-speed internet connectivity, intelligent building management systems, and ample parking spaces. Additionally, the park will boast a range of amenities such as fitness centers, dining options, and recreational areas, all designed to enhance the work-life balance for its occupants.
