Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, speaking at the ISA Steel Infra Build Summit organized by the Indian Steel Association, emphasised the state’s integral role in India’s development journey. He assured steel companies of a secure investment environment, stating that “Uttar Pradesh offers an excellent environment for investment.”
CM Yogi underscored the government’s commitment to safeguarding investors’ interests and pledged to provide comprehensive support. He highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s status as having the largest single-window platform for investment in the country and the implementation of policies across 25 sectors. Monitoring of agreements with the state government is facilitated through the Nivesh Sarathi portal.
Regarding the development in the Bundelkhand region, traditionally considered economically backward, CM Yogi noted its transformation into a favored destination for investors.
Furthermore, CM Yogi Adityanath emphasised significant infrastructure developments in the state and announced that the Ganga Expressway project is expected to be completed by 2025.
In addition, the Indian Steel Association revealed plans to submit a proposal to the state government, detailing entrepreneurs interested in establishing steel processing units within Uttar Pradesh. The proposal will also outline the requirements and expectations of investors from the state government. Alok Sahay, Secretary General of the Indian Steel Association, stated that the proposal would be finalized in the coming weeks.
