Sambhv Steel Tubes Limited has received the Consent to Establish from the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board for a proposed Cold Rolling Mill at Kuthrel Unit-II in Village Kuthrel, Tehsil Dharsiwa, Raipur district. The approval, issued on May 14, 2026 under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change’s IA Division, clears the way for a stainless steel cold rolling facility with a targeted production capacity of 1,18,000 metric tonnes per annum.
The clearance marks a regulatory milestone for a project first disclosed to stock exchanges in November 2025, and advances Sambhv Steel’s expansion into stainless steel processing, a segment that complements its existing steel tubes manufacturing base while positioning the company for higher-value downstream production in Chhattisgarh.
