PLANS TO BUILD TWIN TOWERS IN DELHI

A 30 – 35 storey twin towers at ITO has been planned to be built by Delhi Government at an estimated price of 1,910 crore. This new tower will be built on land at ITO after wrecking the existing structures at Vikas Bhawan-1, MSO Building (PWD headquarters) and GST Building. One tower has been conceived at Vikas Bhawan-1 and another in MSO and GST Buildings.  Consultants will be engaged in these projects for which tenders have been laid out. The consultants will work on the master plan for maximum utilization of permissible floor area ratio (FAR) as per MPD 2021 and will also prepare a detailed design report and plan for construction of the new office complex. The building can have a workplace house for Delhi CM, Deputy CM and ministers on extra Chief Secretary, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and their supporting employees and different offices of the Delhi Government.
